Armed Forces Support

Supporting Our Armed Forces Community

At Cedar Health and Wellbeing, we are proud to be an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, committed to supporting Veterans, Service spouses and their families. We recognise the valuable, transferable skills and experience that Veterans bring to our organisation. We offer a dedicated employment pathway, including guaranteed interviews, insight days and flexible leave options for colleagues with partners deployed. Through our partnership with Forces Families Jobs and The Career Transition Partnership, we actively promote employment opportunities for those within the Armed Forces Community. We also provide eLearning on Armed Forces-related topics, participate in key events like Armed Forces Day and engage with charities such as SSAFA and Healthier Heroes. Our commitment extends to providing healthcare benefits from the first day of employment, offering internal training opportunities and actively supporting military charities and remembrance days. Our Armed Forces Champion ensures a direct point of contact, helping us foster strong relationships within the community. All these efforts reflect our ongoing dedication to supporting the Armed Forces Community, which we also highlight on our website and through our communications.

Our passion for supporting the Armed Forces community is deeply personal, rooted in the experience of our Managing Director, who served in the Queen's Lancashire Regiment. With first-hand knowledge of the challenges faced by those in service, he understands the transferable and valuable skills that Veterans bring to the workforce. This personal connection drives his commitment to ensuring Cedar Health and Wellbeing provides meaningful opportunities and support for Veterans, Service spouses and their families, empowering them to thrive in civilian life.
