Karen brings over 30 years of experience in the health and social care sector. Beginning her career as a support worker, she advanced to Service Manager, specialising in supporting adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities. Throughout her career, Karen has managed both residential and supported living services, consistently emphasising person-centred care, tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
In her current role as Senior Executive Assistant, Karen provides high-level support to the senior leadership team, helping to coordinate key projects and streamline operations across the organisation. Drawing on her deep sector knowledge, she plays a vital role in ensuring communication, planning, and decision-making are carried out efficiently and with insight.
Karen is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those she supports, ensuring services not only meet compliance standards, but genuinely improve well-being. Her background in frontline care and service management gives her a unique perspective in her role - enabling her to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and maintain a people-first approach in everything she does.
