Liam May
With 16 years experience in adult social care, Liam has dedicated his career to supporting people to live fulfilling independent lives. Throughout his career, he has supported people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs, Brain Injuries and Dementia, always striving to deliver high quality person-centred care.
Liam has progressed through a variety of roles, including Support Worker, Team Leader, Assistant Area Manager, Assistant Manager, Registered Manager. These experiences have equipped Liam with a broad understanding of delivering outstanding care while supporting and developing teams to achieve the very best outcomes.
Supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Autism is where Liam's career in adult social care began, making this area of support a passion for him. He believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and is committed to ensuring that the support people receive is empowering, respectful and person-centred.
Liam holds Level 2, 3 and 5 qualifications in Adult Social Care, achieving a distinction in his Level 5. He is also qualified in Level 3 Youth Work and is a Train the Trainer for the Oliver McGowen Mandatory Training and Mental Health First Aid.
Outside of work, Liam enjoys spending time with his partner, exploring nature, photography and caring for his 36 animals which keep him busy and bring him joy.
